Airbus Boosted by A350 Orders
The European plane maker Airbus today boosted its tally of orders for its planned A350 mid-sized jet to over 100.
Airbus now has 117 orders for the A350, although that includes 60 from Qatar Airways, which has said that key points remain to be negotiated. In the latest order at the Paris air show, India’s Kingfisher Airlines said it had signed firm contracts for 15 Airbus aircraft, including five A350s, five A380 superjumbos and five A330s.
