Katrina Arrives

The storm that hit us once, is hitting us again! She’s a big storm that hit Florida at category 1 then sucked up some more energy in the Gulf, got back up to category 4 then hit land again. Donklephant writes about people taking cover in The Superdome. Thankfully however the city of New Orleans, already under sea level, was spared the harder side of the eyewall but the Superdome’s roof has already taken a beating. Time remains to see how badly the city was affected, but it is likely to be heavily flooded, but news is already coming in that people have lost their lives. Crossposted at The English Guy.
